WeFitFamilies.Com Mother's Day Bash Giveaway

I am excited to announce that I am taking part in the WeFitFamilies.com Mother's Day Mega Bash!

WeFitFamilies.com Mother's Day Mega Blog Bash is to celebrate our efforts to keep our families healthy.

My husband got on board several months ago and has been working out at a gym several times a week and eating healthier. He has lost weight and his blood pressure and cholesterol stats are much better. I have been jealously looking at his successes from sidelines.

After going to the Pitt County Eat Smart & Move More event yesterday, I have decided to hop on board to change my lifestyle. I have made this decision for many reasons. One is that obviously I want to get started now so that I do not have health issues in the future. Another reason that I have decided to make this life change is a financial one. Pitt County has offered incentives to thier employees who participate in the Eat Smart & Move More program. The biggest incentive is that if our health insurance premiums should increase this year, those of us that have taken preventive measures to become healthier will not have to pay the increased premium.

I have learned that Pitt County has a large number of walking and riding trails at our disposable. So along, with eating healthier, my husband and I have decided to take advantage of some of the walking trails now that the weather is nice. What better way to spend time together...than getting fit together.

Along with eating healthier and exercising, I have decided to join the WeFitFamilies.Com Forum to help me stay motivated. There are many people on this forum that have decided that 2009 is thier time to become healthy. There are Q&A forums, Challenge Forums, Recipes forums and more.
