The beginning of the 2010-2011 school year is right around the corner and that means Tax Free Weekend for some of us. North Carolina's Tax Free Weekend is August 6-8. I've included a link to the list of tax exempt items; as well as, a link to Frequently Asked Questions. Many stores will combine great back to school sales with this event for even more savings. I will be looking for previews of sales circulars so that I can help you prepare for your shopping.

Washington DC and Georgia repealled thier Tax Free Weekend Event and will not be participating in 2010.
