Saturday Shopping Spree

On Friday, I realized that I had $70 in Walgreens Register Rewards that I had to spend by Saturday or they would expire. I had heard that Kroger and Lowes Food would accept the RR since they are Manufacturer's Coupons so I set out to use them on sale items I had planned to get anyway. Well, our Kroger and Lowes Food would not accept them. I still had a very productive day though. Here is an outline of what I got.

Kroger:

I took advantage of the E-coupon deals that I had told you all about:

Note: Kroger has no limit to the number of cards that a person/household can have so I think I will be getting a card in Charlie's name, my dad's name and his mom's name. Might as well stock up on the great e-coupon deals to maximize my savings. Oh, forgot to take my Wisk coupon so did not do the Wisk coupon deal. However, I believe the price was good through 6/1 so there is still time.

***Note: learned from Ruthie after doing this deal that there are .75 blinkies at Kroger which would double which would make them 2/$1.95. Since we use LOTS of paper plates and are hosting the neighborhood July 4th Block Party I will be going back to get more of these with coupons. Remember, if you go to Lowes to get these today or tomorrow and they are out ask for rain checks!!!!! I know I will.

Walgreens

Since neither of the above would take my WAG RR I had to make a trip to WAG's. I had to decide what I had coupons for to stretch my RR and also to think of things we needed that you never have coupons for.
