Saturday Morning Power Shopping

It's been awhile since I did a good power shop so I decided that since I was dropping Charlie off at the Strickland's to help replace thier floor (you can read more about it on Laci's blog), I would take the opportunity to do some shopping. I really have had no need to shop lately except for meat, produce, etc, but there are some deals that I cannot let go.

Lowes Foods has Dial Complete Foaming Hand soap on sale BOGO. Reg Price $2.45. There are .60 q from 5/18 that doubled so final price is .03. Lowes doubles 4 identical coupons per transaction so I had to do 4 transaction. I completed these at the self-checkout so I would not hold up any lines. Each transaction cost me .25 oop!!!!! Okay, now the adreneline is running and I am ready to make my next stop.

Target has Revlon Color Stay EyeShadows for $5.44 every day. I had 12 $2 Revlon Color Stay coupons from 5/18 and 15 $3 Target coupons so my final price per shadow was .44. I purchased 12 eyeshadows in various shades of brown and some purply/lavender colors. Total Retail was $67.53. Final oop including tax $7.33 Savings $60.20. Now I will tell you that I paid .25 ea for additional inserts and $6.74 for the Target Coupons; however, I still had a very nice savings. I have used the 5/18 inserts for a couple of other deals today so I made my money back three fold.

Kroger has the buy 10 participating items, get $3.00 off your order. Believe me when I say, I do not need anymore cookie mix or muffin mix, but I do need garbage bags. There is rarely a really good deal on garbage bags so I jumped on the opportunity to get the Hefty Kitchen Bags. They are originally $8.69 each on sale for $5.99. There were .75/1 q on 5/18. I bought 10 boxes of bags. My final price was $4.94 each (45% savings). I was checking for closeout items and found Garnier Nutrisioniste Ultra Firm regular price $12.99 on closeout for $4.98. I had a $3.00 coupon so I paid $1.98. So, total retail was $102.89 final price $56.94. I had a $15.00 gift card from a refund offer I did so my total oop was $41.94. Savings $59.2%.

They are doing the buy 2 Pepsi products get 3 free deal again. Regular price $5.49 Sale price when buying 5 $2.40. I bought 10 24 pack. Lysol Disenfecting Wipes are on sale 2/$4 (Reg price $2.99). There were .75 q on 5/18. Final price each .50. Lysol Antibacterial Kitchen Spray was on sale BOGO (Reg Price $2.99). There were .50 q's on 5/18. Final price each was $1.00. Included in this purchase was a donation of $4.99 for a pie going to the troops at Camp Lejuene for July 4th . ( I am a real softy when it comes to making donations and feel blessed that I am able to do so). Total Retail $114.84. Final oop $38.01 Savings 66.9%.
