Super Savings Saturday

I did not get this uploaded in time for Super Saving Saturday on Money Saving Mom, but I did want to share my savings this week. It is such a rush to save more money than I spend. Kroger's everyday low price for 4 ct Cottonelle toilet paper is .99. I had .50 q's that doubled for FREE toilet paper.....so I got 20 free packages. The Scrubbing Bubbles toilet scrubbers were 3 for $7. I had 6 $3.00 coupons and 2 Scrubbing Bubbles printable BOGO q's. They had thier boneless, skinless chicken breast on sale for $1.99 per lb (reg $5.49 lb). I purchased 12 packages. Total purchase $186.96. Total savings $141.12. Total OOP $45.84.

On Monday, I did the candy deal at CVS and bought 3 Revlon nail colors. The candy was BOGO and I had the last of my Life Saver BOGO q's so the 30 bags of life savers were FREE. I have to tell you guys that I was glad I had the letter from CVS corporate stating that you can use a BOGO q on a BOGO sale. The cashier and manager were not happy with me....but, completed the transaction and then promptly ripped up my letter. Fortunately, I can always print off another one. I paid $3.99 for each of the nail polishes and received $9.00 in ECB's. Quite a profitable day. I did the Kashi deal at Target. Kashi cereals were 4/$11. I had a $2 and 3 $1 Kashi q's that I got from Vocal Point. I paid $6.15 OOP and recieved a $5.00 Target GC.
Another CVS find. Thier summer merchandise is marked 75%, but I was delighted to find out it rang up at 90% off. I bought 12 plates and 12 goblets for $1.92. I will put them to use next summer.
This is a few of the Glade air fresheners that I purchased this week with the $4.00 coupons that expired yesterday. All total I have gotten 34 air fresheners Free.
At Dollar General I got Glade Air Fresheners and also used more of my free Kraft Item coupons. My total went from $54.86 to $7.30. That was the 21 Koolaid and tax. The cashier was totally amazed at my savings and wanted to know how I learned to save so much. I, of course, told her of my blog and of the other wonder blogs and forums that I learn from.

I never did make it to Walgreens for all the great freebies and nearly frees. Maybe I will make it this week.
