Kroger Coupon Policy
Just wanted to let you know that I recieved a response from Kroger concerning my problem there a couple of weekends ago. I am copying the email that was sent to me so that we will ALL have the Mid Atlantic Region Coupon Policy in black and white:
Dear Ms. XXXX:
Thank you for contacting The Kroger Co. I do apologize for your experience and I have a written coupon policy for you it is as follows:
Double Coupons:
• Manufacturer coupons of $.50 or less will be "Doubled".
• Manufacturer coupons over $.51 will be redeemed at face value.
• This Does Not apply to "Free", Kroger, Retail Food Store coupons, Electronic
Coupons on the Kroger Plus Card or items prohibited by law.
Pharmacy Coupons:
• Does accept Competitor Pharmacy Coupons.
• Cannot use LCM or Competitor Coupons in conjunction with the $4 Generic
Program.
General Coupon Policy:
• Limit one (1) manufacturer coupon per item purchased.
• Limit one (1) store coupon per item purchased.
• One (1) manufacturer and One (1) store coupon can be used on the same item.
• Coupons cannot be used on "Free" items.
• Does Not accept coupons that are expired.
• Amount refunded cannot exceed the cost of the item.
• The store manager has the right to accept, decline, or limit the use of ANY
coupon upon view.
• The store manager has the right to limit the Quantity of coupons/items
used/purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day
• Customer is responsible for tax on all items even "Free" items.
I hope this helps with any confusion. I will be forwarding this report to the store director to make them aware of your experiences. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. We appreciate your business.
Sincerely,

OK sorry it took a bit to get back to you. We went in Saturday evening and they have signs up everywhere saying limit "1 coupon per type of item" (or something to that effect. I only had 3 or 4 coupons to double and the rest were $1 or more. He scanned the first .50 and then manually put in to not double the others. I asked and he said it was the new policy and pointed to the sign. OK--then the manager came over and said you can only double one--the rest are at face value. I then asked as per the sign I could not use my multiple $1 off coupons and she said I could. I am confused and I think they are too. BUT there are signs EVERYWHERE now!
Keep on letting us know how things are going!!
