Great Deal Alert!!

Got an email from my "reporter in the field" Susan:

Food Lion five pound bags of sugar are on sale this week for $1.49 (limit 4, but I think it is four per trip, I don't think they can track your purchases if you make mulitple trips). There are tearpad Q's for $1.00 off Food Lion sugar if you buy five packs of Kool Aid, on sale this week for $.10.
So $1.49 (sugar) + $.50 (five packs KoolAid) - $1.00 Q = $.99
Hurry because my Food Lion was cleaned out of Kool Aid already this morning. The tearpads were right by the Kool Aid in my store, but others have reported that the cashiers have them or they are in other places.

I went to the FL near the airport on Easy Street and there was plenty of KoolAid; however, there were no tearpads. Luckily, someone at work at brought me in a couple.
I will check a couple of other stores on my way home.

6:30 Thursday
Got a text from friend, Kim, that the FL in Stantonsburg Square had lots of tearpads. I stopped by the store and the tearpads are by the sugar instead of on the drink aisle with the KoolAid. There was a Kool Aid freestanding display.

I tried to buy 4 more sugars, but the 4th coupons beeped. I returned sugar and Kool Aid that went with that coupons. Looks as though you should only try 6 per day.
