Rite Aid to shut as many as 117 stores after wider loss. The drugstore chain operator says the closures will be scattered across the U.S. The firm's red ink more than doubled in the fiscal fourth quarter to $2.3 billion.

I was at the Rite Aid on 10th Street yesterday to have RX transferred and they are not closing. One of my co-workers went to the store at the intersection of Evans and Greenville Blvd and there is a large sign announcing its closing.
