Harris Teeter will no longer accept Walgreens RR and other stores catalina's (even though they are MQ). They will only accept competitors circular coupons and direct mail coupons.Here is the link to the coupon policy on thier site. I have also updated the link on my sidebar.

I am wondering if the power of the consumer could make a difference in this policy change. Remember a couple of years ago, we couponers joined forces and had a mass emailing to Lowes Food Corporate concerning the elimination of the $35 minimum for double coupons.
What do you think?

Thanks to Frugal Coupon Frenzy for this update.

Hmmm I am not sure this is true. I know I have heard some rumors that stores are denying but the policy on the website does not say they will not accept those. It is a man Q not a *competitor* Q. I think stores are just deciding not to accept them at this point only because they have the other store logo. They are a manufacturer Q and only show the logo as a *ad* that it was received by that store. NOWHERE on them does it same *Redeemable ONLY at "insert store name"*. Know what I mean?
This is from the HT website.
::Competitor’s Coupons::
We gladly accept local competitors’ circular or direct-mail coupons for MONEY OFF THE TOTAL ORDER; we do not take competitor’s coupons for money off specific items.
We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.
From what I remember the site used to be less specific and just said we accept competitors coupons. We will have to see what the two stores in Greenville do.
