I just read on Frugal Frenzy that Lowes Foods will be discontinuing the GreenPoints program effective 6. You will be able to use your accumulated points for up to two years, but only online only. You will probably want to think about using up those points before that date. According to the post they are going to launch another program which they say will be better. Time will tell.

A friend and I actually scouted out the only Lowes Foods in town the other day and tried to get a card; they said they were out, were revamping the customer rewards program, and would have new cards in some time at the beginning of October.
