I received an email yesterday from Eric at Rite Aid with a heads up on thier Easter Specials. That really got me thinking that Easter is just days away!
Have you started shopping?
From chocolate-covered Peeps, edible Easter grass and bags of nothing but black licorice jellybeans to prefilled baskets, Reese's Pieces Carrots and giant wicker eggs, the neighborhood Rite Aid store has enough variety to get any aspiring bunny hopping for some spring shopping.
Right now, Rite Aid has Peeps, Chickens and Bunnies, Brach's Jelly Eggs, Necco Malted Eggs and Palmer Bagged candy for only $0.88. Hershey, Reeses and Cadbury bagged candy is only $1.88 ( don't forget to use these great coupons to "sweeten" the deal:
$2/3 Hershey's, Reeses, or Cadbury Candy, exp. 4-4-10 (SS 03/14/10)
$1/1 Hershey's Kisses Chocolates, exp. 3-31-10 (ALL YOU Feb '10)

What Easter Basket would be complete without a bunny. Rite Aid has chocolate Bunnies by Palmer, Lindt and Russell Stovers. If a plush bunny is more your style, they are currently 33% off.
Last, but not least...you have to have grass in your Easter basket. Rite Aid currently has edible Easter grass on sale 2/$3. (I am definitely showing my age here, because I have never heard of edible grass).
Even last-minute shoppers can fullfil their little one's dream of an Easter basket with pre-filled baskets ranging in price from $7.99 - $19.99.
Rite Aid has convenient holiday hours up to and including Easter Sunday in most of the 4,800 Rite Aid stores nationwide.
Just because your kids are grown doesn't mean they won't be expecting a little something.. Rite Aid has all kinds of sample size bath and body products, small electronics, books, magazines and other everyday necessities that make perfect basket stuffers for teens on up to college students.
Be sure to check out this week's Rite Aid circular to find just the right items for your Easter Basket needs.
