Sad news for all of us Hulu users..
Chase Carey, News Corporation's President and Chief Operating Officer has reported that HULU will start charging subscription fees as early as 2010.

Hulu ha struggled to make money despite its popularity as an ad-supported site. They have not decided what form the subscriptions will take.

NOooooooo! I haven't heard this. I love Hulu - I hardly watch regular TV anymore. That will be a shame if they start charging.
That's too bad! But advertising doesn't seem to be covering the costs of many media outlets these days. It is killing the newspapers. The price of newspapers will have to go up t cover printing costs or many more those will be gone too. I couldn't imagine not having our local paper (with coupons inserts!).
