Make It @ Home
Have you heard of the "Make It @ Home" program on Walmart.com? I hadn't either until I recieved an email from Carrie Stern, Marketing Manager for Lunchbox.
Initially, Make It @ Home was a meal planning program designed to help busy moms come up wht quick and healthy dishes on a small budget. The program has been pretty successful so far. Carrie says that one of the best parts about Make It @ Home has always been the customized grocery list. Users can create, edit, save and print out a completely customized shopping list for free. Now, it's even better because there is a free iPhone application that you can download to your phone that makes shopping a breeze.
The best part is that it is faster, saves paper and it is STILL FREE!!
Here's an example of how it works. You've already left for the store with your customized shopping list completed. Someone at home realizes that they forgot to ask you to pick up something. They simply log on to the Make It @ Home site, update your list and the changes will be reflected on your iPhone.
Since you are visiting this site, you already know the importance of saving time and money. Hopefully the Grocery List app from Make It @ Home will help!
I personally checked out the site and was pretty impressed. Cheryl Dent, who has had shows on both the Style Network and Food Network, hosts videos. She gives a recipe for a Breyers Gingerbread Ice Cream Cake that sounds heavenly. Other videos are of appetizers and foods using products such as I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Hellmanns, Wishbone.
Use the link above to check out the videos and customized shopping list.
